subculture and dress

Discussed subculture on class today. Discovered that people from everywhere have different themes about their own subculture. But I found out that Asians are less creative than Westerns. Although in Japan we have cosplays and 101 hot girls, in Taiwan we have some Punks on the street, more and more club style people now. What I got today are bogan: people like to wear jeans, slipper, shout out and tatoo on their skin; hippy: peaceful, love envirolment and dress colorfully; Goth: like vampire dress; there are still pop,rapper,Rasta,Punk... that I seldom saw when I was in Taiwan. Different education makes people different. Westerns keep their own opinion on what they dress, Asians are more conservative to show what they really are. I think this is a big difference between us.

About Taiwan dresses I search on the internet, there are many different types of traditional clothing in Taiwan: headdresses, kimonos, tunics, and sashes, and even particular kinds of ceremonial wedding dresses. And sometimes we will dress chiang-piaoto to welcome foreign guests on big ceremonies. But I'm wondering what king of dress Teacher Rapheal mentioned on class? C-fu?
